Supplier Diversity
Making a global impact on supplier diversity
Kellogg works to conduct business with diverse suppliers who represent our consumers and the communities where we live and work, while also ensuring our customers, employees and supplier partners benefit from our partnerships.
To do so, we rely on over 20,000 incredible ingredients, packaging, indirect services and co-manufacturing suppliers from around the world. Our suppliers include aboriginal-, disability-, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer+ (LGBTQ+)-, minority-, veteran & service-disabled veteran-, and woman-owned businesses.
In 2022, we allocated $433,490,705 to Tier 1* diverse suppliers and $60,947,379 to Tier 2**.
Kellogg’s commitment to supplier diversity – Baldwin Richardson Foods
A diverse supplier is a business that is at least 51% owned and operated by an individual or group that is part of a historically underrepresented or underserved group. By opening up to a diverse pool of businesses, Kellogg brings a higher volume of innovation and unique ideas to the table. Our supplier diversity efforts create jobs in historically underutilized communities.
*Tier 1 diverse suppliers have a direct relationship with Kellogg Company.
**Tier 2 supplier spend is counted when Kellogg's aligned suppliers contract with diverse suppliers and report that spend back to us.
