W.K. Kellogg Foundation

Kellogg Company and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) are two great institutions founded by the same visionary. Both are creating lasting impact. WKKF supports children, families, and communities as they strengthen and create conditions that propel vulnerable children to achieve success as individuals and as contributors to the larger community and society. It is among the largest philanthropic foundations in the U.S. Although, as legally separate entities, Kellogg Company has no influence on WKKF’s activities, programs or initiatives.

WKKF receives its income primarily from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Trust, and the Trust is Kellogg Company’s largest shareowner. In 2021, Kellogg stock was approximately 45% of the Trust’s portfolio, and Kellogg Company paid more than USD $138 million in dividends to the Trust to fund the Foundation’s work.
